A practical session on DevOps methodology for aspiring DevOps engineers, built around a live demo rather than a tour of tools.

  • The demo pipeline. A commit triggers runner-based CI, images are built with Podman and stored in Nexus, Ansible deploys to Linux and Windows servers, and Prometheus and Grafana monitor the result. Keycloak handles access and a wiki holds the documentation.
  • Big-data angle. How the same practices apply to data platforms: automated cluster deployments, CI for ETL pipelines, and monitoring data jobs.
