For a government client starting on open-source Hadoop, I wrote the deployment manual and configuration: a highly available HDFS and YARN layout, ZooKeeper, and an MIT Kerberos realm with primary and secondary KDCs. This was the groundwork for a later move to Cloudera CDP.
